COLLEGE COUNSELING
From Day 1 to Decision Day, we help our student-athletes get recruitment exposure, build a competitive application, and prepare for a successful NCAA career.
College Acceptances
Congratulations to The St. James Performance Academy class of 2026, who have been admitted and recruited to compete at the collegiate level.
Your College Journey Begins Here
5th–8th Grade
Building the Foundation.
Long before recruitment officially begins, we are already at work. This stage is about exposure and self-discovery, giving students the tools to understand how they learn best, so that academic strength becomes second nature by the time it matters most. Through focused study skills, test-taking strategies, and metacognitive coaching, we help students build the habits and confidence that carry them into high school ready. We also introduce them early to the landscape of collegiate athletics, exploring what competing at the D1, D2, D3, or NAIA level really looks like, so they enter high school with a clear sense of the path ahead and what it takes to walk it.
Freshman & Sophomore Year
Sharpening the Profile
With the foundation already in place, students begin turning preparation into progress. We refine academic performance, build out game film, and start shaping a recruiting profile that reflects the full picture of who they are, on paper and in competition.
Sophomore & Junior Year
Getting on the Radar
This is where outreach ramps up. We connect students with coaches, help them navigate camps and showcases, and start narrowing in on schools that fit academically, athletically, and personally.
Junior Year
Visits & Offers
Official and unofficial visits, coach conversations, and the first offers start coming in. We walk families through what to ask, what to look for, and how to compare opportunities.
Senior Year
Decision & Signing
From final offers to National Letter of Intent, we help students make a confident choice and celebrate it, right up to signing day.
