Strivers Take Undefeated IMG Academy to the Wire in 44-42 Thriller
The St. James Performance Academy Strivers came within two points of handing undefeated IMG Academy its first loss of the season, falling 44-42 in a hard-fought road matchup on October 3.
The Strivers battled throughout the non-conference contest, pushing the Ascenders (6-0) to the final moments in a high-scoring showdown. Despite the narrow loss, The St. James Performance Academy (4-1) showed it could compete with one of the nation's top programs.
The Strivers will look to bounce back on Saturday, October 10, when they face the undefeated St. Frances Academy Panthers (5-0) in Baltimore, Maryland. The non-conference matchup presents another opportunity for the Strivers to test themselves against elite competition.
